French federation of Hemochromatosis disease associations (FFAMH)

FFAMH is a federation of associations of patients with hemochromatosis, a genetic disease caused by excessive iron absorption that causes toxic accumulation in the body. Undiagnosed, it evolves and can cause serious illnesses (cirrhosis, liver cancer, heart failure, etc.) and premature death. The Cerba Institute has supported the FFAMH through a sponsorship of skills to develop knowledge and screening for this disease.
