How will drones renew logistics in the medical field?
The blood samples may soon be transported by drone! Cerballiance laboratories, in collaboration with Delivrone, have been running a series of experimental flights since the beginning of the year.
On Tuesday June 20, the drone flew between the Granville and St Lô laboratories (104 km round trip at sunset). The next stage is due to start in September, with a series of daytime flights to validate the blood parameters measured in the laboratory.
Delivrone and Cerba HealthCare are also planning new trials in other regions of Normandy.
