Ensure climate conservation

Cerba HealthCare is committed to respecting the carbon emission trajectory defined by the Paris Climate Agreement  according to the SBTi* reference methodology.

The objectives validated by Science Based Targets demonstrate the Group's commitment to supporting society's transition to a low-carbon economy.

Our SBTi objectives (2022-2030):

  • 42% reduction in CO2 emissions for Scopes 1 and 2
  • 25% reduction in CO2 emissions for Scope 3

Our environmental roadmap

In 2022, an environmental roadmap has been defined to meet our carbon target and reduce the environmental impact of our activities, based on 5 major challenges:

  • Greening and optimizing energy consumption
  • Greening and optimizing transport
  • Optimizing consumption and combating waste
  • Reduce and recycle waste
  • Reduce water impact

While our primary responsibility is to contribute to the health of all, we are also aware of the necessity to work to preserve the planet and develop our activities in this direction.

Our carbon footprint

Each year, the Group updates its carbon footprint in order to monitor and assess its direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.

While Cerba HealthCare's primary responsibility is to act on its most direct emissions (gas, fuel, refrigerants and electricity), it is indirect emissions that weigh most heavily on its carbon footprint (98%).
